Elspeth Road – London

Elspeth Road

Type – Extension/ Remodelling

We were appointed to undertake a ground floor side-return extension and internal reconfigurations to a Victorian terrace in Battersea, London.

The project included an open-plan kitchen, bi-folding glazed doors, and a maximisation of natural light.

With this project we were keen to avoid the home becoming the ubiquitous London ‘side return’ extension.

We were pleased to learn that, after seeing our work on their neighbours’ home, this couple entrusted us with the remodelling and extension of their own property. Originally built with an awkward kitchen layout and lacking space for a ground-floor WC or utility space, the house needed thoughtful reconfiguration. Our knowledge of how to work efficiently with small spaces and also how to add grandeur through the use of light and roof glazing completely changed the home. The clients’ impeccable interior styling beautifully complements our exterior enhancements, creating a cohesive and inviting space.
